Fat Cat on a Mat
This is not a very complex book, very appropriate for 5-6 years old children.
The children can create a map with the analysis of the cat, they will learn adjectives.
While you are reading, you can also ask some questions to know if your students are following the story:
- Who is the main character in the story?
- Why did the fat cat flee from the bee?
- What did the fat cat throw from the tree?
- What the pig thought that was the nest?
- Where did the fat cat land?
- What animals were talking behind the bush?
- What did Jake Snake want to do?
- What did Ted want to do?
- How many animals were in the story?
- Why didn´t the fat cat play?
- How many bird eggs was the fat cat hatching?
